the "Ultimate 24hr CRUNCH Test"

NOTE: The following is a post that I put up on John Reese's Traffic Secrets private members forum.

Dear Traffic Secrets Owners,

I wanted to share an inspiring story with some great results in the past two weeks.

It starts off at Mark Victor Hansen and Robert Allen's latest seminar they held in San Diego called "Cracking the Millionaire Code".

To keep things short, let's just say I managed to take some serious action on the 2nd night of the conference. You see they challenged us to make some REAL CA$H while we were there for 3 days. Being that I always like a good challenge I was ready to play.

You can find the full story at:

But first...

I already had some skills online in creating sites and promoting them. This would just be sort of the "Ultimate 24hr CRUNCH Test".

So I created an entire sales letter around this product they were offering people at a discount to sell online or ebay or what ever we wanted. (some people just walked to the mall and solicited some poor victims)

I got the site up in a few hours, bolted on the complete affiliate program and sent it to my list of about 15,000 people. As well as a small sub list of about 15 people I know that have large lists that could make some quick cash with the affiliate program.

So, by the next morning I had already made about a half dozen (6) orders and I had signed up 12 affiliates. At the end of that first day of launching the site, I was able to pull in over $5,600 in sales with an incredible offer at only $97.

I have since put out a promotion to my affiliates with a challenge to motivate them to sell more. The challenge is: whoever sells the most programs by the end of the month (March/2005) will get an extra $100 cash bonus. (not a lot but enough to make it fun).

Then I created a page with some example and step by step instructions on how to sell and pull the highest results from their list using an Audio Postcard. (of coarse when they signup for that service I make even more affiliate cash!).

You can check that page at:
http://www.segoviasmith.com/affiliates/robertallen_promo.html

So now that I have over 60 affiliates and I'm training them to kick but and sell harder for me. I'm excited to say... I GET ME A GOLD STAR!

Segovia Smith

PS. My next goal is to get up to 101 affiliates with an average of 9 sales each. This would bring in a Gross Sale of over $100,000.

I'll keep you posted on my progress.

PPS. If you have a list of people who are interested in these materials please signup for my affiliate program. But do it quick because Mark and Bob only gave me permission to sell this package to the end of the month. Then the site has to be closed down.

I look forward to sending you a check!

The Drudgery of a Technology Melt Down

When you’re on your way UP and rising to the top fast, there will always be things, events, mishaps and people that want to slow you down and knock you off your feet.
Well the last week has been that way for me. The first part of this challenge has been so fast and furious. Then all of a sudden everything crawled to a complete stop or melted down entirely.

Here is a snap shot of what happened all within 72 hours.

1) My web site server (hosting) went down
2) My email was down for 5 days
3) My computer got a virus and that sucked so I had to reformat it
4) I bought a new computer (Sony VIAO! / Ouch$$#$!) This took several days to setup and get running again.
5) My T-mobile phone hasn't been working for the past week.
6) My MP3 recorder is dysfunctional so I bought 3 more and returned 2 of them that didn’t do what I needed them to!

I think that was the long and short of it. But if it could break it did. I think we sometimes forget how dependent we are on technology until we lose access to it for a few days. Wow! I felt like I was in the dinosaur age with total disconnect from the outside world.

Anyhow, it's a new week and I'm back on my feet. Just working on writing up my new business plan to expand and concur.

Till next time.

Hi all,

Successes:

So I just entered my stats into the EMI Hall of Fame for the 101 day CTC challenge. Yahoo! I'm at the top of my game. In the last week I was able to create over $30,000 and I'm just getting started.

I was able to make almost $5,000 from the Mark & Bob Bonus offer that we were able to promote at the conference and for the next 30 days.

http://www.SegoviaSmith.com

I also talked to all my clients and had several of them pre-pay their services for the rest of the year. This brought in $26,000 which I am using to expand my business in order to begin to outsource a lot of the development work that I do.

I just hired 4 new contractors this week.

I also hired a personal business strategy coach to help me take my current business model to over $2 Million in revenue annually. I'm so excited I can hardly sleep.

Challenges:

If you could help me with my with my goal to promote the Mark and Bob bonus offer to your list or even just a few friends that would be great. Just visit the site above and signup for the affiliate program.

I'm going to get 101 affiliates (I have 37 already) and then I want to show each of those affiliates how to make 9 Sales so that I make a total of 1000+ sales in the next 20 days. Wow! That's a lot of work. All I'm asking for is your part (9 orders). Thanks

I'll keep you all posted.

Regards,
Segovia Smith

Next step. Video!

PS. It's called PodCasting

And the extremely interesting call I was listening to can be found at: http://www.itconversations.com/shows/detail282.html

The Beginning of a Fast Passed Journey - Day 1

So I had this great conversation with Kent Corbell today and was very inpired to begin researching "PodCasting" and how it might fit with some audio projects that I'm working on currently. It's now been over 12 hours since our conversation and I'm still searching and learning about everything to do with Bogging both text, audio and video.

I also had this other cool conversation with Jose Espania and he and I were talking about documenting the process of creating $1 Million Dollars in the next 90 days. So I have a lot of work but I think that Blogging will play another big roll in the documentaion process.

My new word for the day is "Blogasphere".... what does this mean? Good question!
